May 17th: Treasure Fest III

If you are reading this, then we are really excited that you are actually looking at the site. Please read the previous posts and gather all of the information. Check in will be in front of SNUG HARBOR. It will be from 12pm (noon) to around 6pm. After that, everything will be over at Lunchbox. If you want to buy a shirt, or pick up a shirt that you pre-ordered, you will only be able to do it at check-in OR Lunchbox (after check-in). If you bought a ticket online, god bless you my child, then bring your "receipt" to check in. If you can't print off the confirmation then just bring ID to show us that you are, in fact you. If you don't have an ID, or you used your mom's paypal to buy your ticket, you'll still be fine as long as you know the name used when the ticket was purchased.

Wristbands will be for sale at LUNCHBOX, SNUG HARBOR, and THE MILESTONE. Two day passes are $30 (day of price). If you choose to only go to select shows (fun sponge), there will be individual prices for each show. Please check the "Venues" link for the prices. If you do not have a wristband please donate to the shows that say donate on them.

As always, be respectful of the neighborhood, the venues, the people working, volunteering, and playing music. Tip your waiters, bartenders and anyone who is being awesome. Please be careful crossing the streets, use crosswalks and for the love of all things holy, DO NOT drink and drive!!!

Thanks so much for the support, we couldn't do this without YOU. Treasure Fest is a group effort and it takes all of us to make this a success. Help bands move gear off stage (knowingly), be a volunteer, and help keep things running on time. As Bill & Ted once said, "be excellent to each other."

May 8th: Checking In and Other Information

So, check in will be in front of Snug Harbor on Friday, May 17th from 1pm- 5pm. If you are in a band then do your damnedest to make this time work for you. If you cannot make that time then please email us so we can have your "envelope" at the venue you are playing in. If you are playing at The Milestone then you will check in at The Milestone due in part to the geographic issues of checking in a different area.

Saturday check in will be in front of Snug Harbor as well. It will be from 12pm (noon) to about 3pm. Once again, if you are in a band then try and make this time to check in, even if you are not playing around this time. If you do not make check in then your wristbands, money and envelopes will be at the venue that you are playing in.

If you are a patron of Treasure Fest, and you are awesome, and bought a ticket online beforehand, then take your receipt to check in at Snug Harbor on Friday and you will be given a wristband. If you can not make the check in times (above) then go to Lunchbox Records to check in. Only go to Lunchbox to check in if you MISS check in. If you can make the check in times then go to Snug Harbor.

If you still have not purchased a ticket you still can. You can be entered into the raffle if you buy a ticket before May 16th at 11:59pm. Tickets after that time will go up to $30 for the weekend. You can buy a ticket now for $25 and win lots of records and two FEST 12 passes, so you really can't lost by buying a ticket early. Also, it really helps with being able to have the funds available before the weekend comes, and being able to pay all of the out of town bands before the festival starts (i.e., the envelopes that their money is in).

Looking forward to next weekend!!! Come out to The Milestone on May 11th (Saturday) and celebrate with us for the PRE-FEST show/benefit/cover show. It will be awesome!!!

May 1st: RAFFLE INFORMATION UPDATED!!!

So here is the raffle for 2013. If you buy a ticket from now until May 16th, by 11:59pm, then you will be entered in to win the raffle. If you do not buy a ticket before then, tickets go up to $30. So, by all means, buy a ticket now for only $25. You can win a lot of records, and TWO tickets to FEST 12.

April 25th: Purchase Early Tickets NOW for only $25!!!

Here is the flyer, please share it on your social media pages. There could be some minor changes, but for the most part this is it. As you can see, we are going with a fantasy/video game/rpg theme. We implore you to go along with the theme. For example, we welcome anyone who dresses like their favorite video game character, or just simply dressing like a wizard would be awesome.

We really appreciate the support thus far, and could use your support further. We need places for bands to stay, and more tickets need to be sold. A lot of people wait until the last minute to buy tickets and it really stresses us out. Tickets are NOW $25 and will be at that price until May 16th at 11:59pm. At midnight on what is officially May 17th, tickets will then become $30 for the weekend. If you buy a ticket before hand, you not only save $5, you also are entered into a raffle to win a lot of FREE records and gift cards. There are three prize packs, so there really are a lot of reasons to buy tickets early.

We have another benefit show coming up on May 11th, the weekend before Treasure Fest III. A few locals will be playing cover sets to help you get in the spirit of the following weekend and raise a couple bucks to help pay all of the amazing out of town bands. Secret Hospital (Wire), Late Bloomer (Foo Fighters), Mineral Girls (Weezer), Black Market (Pixies) is what that cover show will look like. One Another will be playing their "mixtape" cover set as well for the occasion. That event is at The Milestone and will be on May 11th at usual show time (8pm doors, 9pm show).

Once again, thanks for all the support, we really appreciate it. Please purchase your tickets before the prices go up, also standing in line sucks, so get to "festing" early and buy a ticket. Just so you know, Lunchbox Records is selling physical tickets NOW.

April 19th: Less than a month away!!!

Treasure Fest III is coming up on us quick, so please be sure to purchase a ticket now!!! If you purchase a ticket now, you will be entered to win the raffle, which includes records/prizes from Sorry State Records, Self Aware Records, Lunchbox Records, Fat Sandwich Records, Tiny Engines Records, and many more. The prize pack also features TWO tickets to THE FEST (Gainesville, FL). You read that right, not one ticket but TWO!!!

We posted a tentative schedule so you could get some sort of idea of everything that we are working on hopefully let you know what you have to look forward to!!! March 15th: Second Round of Band Announcements!!!

So this is a quick update today. The 2nd round of bands have been announced. The final schedule is being worked out. Obviously lineups may change and the schedule will change as well, from now until May 17th. Thanks for all of the support, go click on the BANDS link to check out the new bands. March 10th: Updates/Venue Changes

Greetings fellow wizards. We have good news and bad news. Let me go ahead and get the bad news out of the way. Sooo, it looks like STUDIO 1212 will, unfortunately, no longer be a venue for this year's fest. Blame zoning issue and laws for that one, Jim McGuire and company are still awesome in our books. We want to thank them for being such awesome hosts for the previous two fests. Life goes on and we adjust.

Milestone and Snug Harbor will be picking up the burden and we really appreciate their hard work. Obviously this will make it hard to walk from Snug Harbor to Milestone but with a little bit of planning ahead and responsibility you can make it work out. The shows at Snug will be starting a little earlier (2pm-Saturday) and Milestone will be running earlier than they usually do.

Please be awesome to anyone who is a volunteer or working these long days. Tip well, give them hugs, and be helpful/supportive. They are working hard so you don't have to, be respectful!!! Lastly, we will be announcing the second round of bands for the fest in a couple weeks, so please stay tuned. Make sure you buy a ticket early, tickets will be going up on the day of (check tickets page for details)!!!

January 28th: Lineup Announcements

Check out the first wave of lineup announcements! Just as in previous years, there's a wide array of bands from across the Carolinas, Southeast, and Northeast. There will be another round of bands that we will announce in the coming weeks, so definitely stay tuned for that as well!! We are currently looking for more sponsors and are planning a couple fundraisers/benefit shows to help with the costs, which are a lot higher this year than they have been previously. If you have a place for bands to crash, or any other tips on how to make this a seamless community effort, feel free to contact us!

Jan 21st: Treasure Fest 3 is coming!!!

Hello everyone, long time no talky. We currently have around 40 bands confirmed for TREASURE FEST 3 (MAY 17-18). This year is shaping up to be really awesome. We will be announcing some of the bands soon but we are still waiting on some confirmations to come in. It has been a hard year to book with so many awesome fests around the time of Treasure Fest 3. No reason to fear though, the lineup is awesome.

Just like in previous years, Treasure Fest operates on a grassroots community basis. We can use your help with so many of the details. Bands will need places to stay, P.A.'s will need to be found and tickets will need to be bought. I have no doubts that all this will happen, but just know that we do appreciate any and all help on a local or regional level to pull this off.
